Calcium Stearate is the calcium salt of stearic acid, appearing as a white, waxy, or fine powder. With a calcium content of 6.6–7.4%, it functions primarily as a lubricant, release agent, and stabilizer in various industrial, plastic, rubber, and cosmetic applications. It is insoluble in water but soluble in hot alcohols and oils, and is chemically stable under normal storage conditions.
