Description

Sodium Cryolite is a white to off-white crystalline inorganic compound primarily used as a flux in aluminum smelting, electrolyte in the Hall–Héroult process, and in abrasives, glass, ceramics, welding fluxes, and insecticides. It lowers the melting point of alumina and improves electrical conductivity in molten baths.
