Sodium acetate trihydrate is the hydrated form of sodium acetate containing three molecules of water of crystallization. EP grade material is widely used in pharmaceutical buffering systems, injectable formulations, analytical chemistry, food processing, and textile industries. It exhibits good buffering capacity in the mildly acidic to neutral pH range.
