Description

Cobalt(II) sulphate heptahydrate is an inorganic cobalt salt supplied as pink to reddish crystalline granules or powder. In feed grade, it is used as a trace mineral supplement for livestock—especially ruminants—to prevent cobalt deficiency and support vitamin B₁₂ synthesis. The compound is water-soluble and mildly acidic.
