Bismuth bromide is an inorganic bismuth halide, most commonly supplied as bismuth(III) bromide (BiBr₃). It appears as a yellow to pale brown crystalline solid and is moisture-sensitive, readily hydrolyzing in the presence of water. It is mainly used as a chemical intermediate and catalyst precursor in research and specialty chemical applications.
