Barium Carbonate is a white, odorless, crystalline powder widely used as an intermediate in the manufacture of other barium compounds and in several industrial applications. It is insoluble in water but reacts with acids to form soluble barium salts. The material is chemically stable under normal storage conditions and supplied as a fine free-flowing solid.
