Ferrous Oxalate is the iron(II) salt of oxalic acid. It is commonly used as a precursor for iron-containing pigments, in chemical synthesis, and as a laboratory reagent. Ferrous Oxalate is sparingly soluble in water and can oxidize to ferric oxalate on exposure to air.
